Herbal Apothecary creams have been used and appreciated for many years. Our creams and lotions are produced using plant derived extracts and oils. Where herbal extracts are used the water phase is pH balanced to allow their addition in order that they do not separate within the cream or cause curdling.
For the oil phase we use natural emulsifying agents to ensure the presence of fat soluble and complex aromatics.
In order to provide a positive shelf life we use traditional preservatives as cautiously and as sensitively as possible in amounts small enough to provide microbiological stability. Herbal Apothecary creams have been known for their stability and therapeutic properties for many years.
