Access to Herbal Practitioners and Products

At Herbal Apothecary we’re creating connections between practitioners and consumers, through products and services.

We believe that natural medicine will have a huge part to play in the healthcare of the 21st Century. We are committed to ensuring the long term viability and availability of herbal medicine, to ensure as many people as possible can benefit from the potentially life changing treatments this tradition has to offer.

Our Projects

  • Herbal Access
This scheme demonstrates our commitment to make herbal medicine a more accessible option. We’re covering the cost of herbal medicine prescriptions for patients who need financial support.
  • Year-Long Discount for Graduates
Our second scheme is designed to help recent graduates establish their practices by providing a 10% discount across our entire range of products for a year after qualification.
  • An Online Directory of Herbalists
We’re creating a comprehensive online directory of herbalists to help people connect with a herbalist in their area. It’s free to add your practice to the directory – add your listing now!
  • Website Development and Graphic Design Services
As our team grows, so does our capacity to provide creative design and technology services to other organisations. Do you need help with your website, need a leaflet or brochure designing, want to make a video or need some support with your social media? Get in touch!

Read on to find out more about each of these projects.

Herbal Access

We’re putting our money where our mouth is. Launched in November 2021, Herbal Access demonstrates our commitment to making herbal remedies accessible to all.

Year-Long Discount for Graduate Herbalists

Another way that Herbal Apothecary are facilitating access to herbal medicine is with our discount scheme for recent graduates. This scheme provides qualified herbalists with the opportunity to get 10% off their online orders with Herbal Apothecary for a whole year.

In order to register for the scheme, please send a copy of your certificate of qualification via email to sales@herbalapothecaryuk.com stating that you would like to join. We’ll send you a unique discount code which you’ll be able to use for a year, every time you shop with us.

We want to support herbalists who are setting up new practices. This scheme demonstrates our commitment to this – we hope lots of qualifying herbalists will take us up on the offer!

Online Directory of Herbalists

We’re creating an online directory of herbalists. It’s free to add your business to the directory, so go ahead! All that’s required is that you’re registered with Herbal Apothecary. You can add your business name, address, phone number, email address and website as well as a lengthy description of the services you offer.

All listings are checked by our team before being published on the website and we reserve the right to correct spelling and grammar as we see fit!

Website and Graphic Design Services

In the spring of 2021, our team was joined by Jack Barber and Caleb Wilson. Jack had previously worked as a self-employed designer and website developer for over a decade. Whilst much of his time is now taken up managing our websites and building out in-house technology, Jack and Caleb are committed to supporting Jack’s existing website customers, as well as working with new clients.

If you need website design or support, help with graphic design such as leaflets or advert artwork or even social media support or advice, get in touch! You can visit Jack’s website here.

Working with Others

We work closely with highly respected industry bodies such as the British Herbal Medicine Association (BHMA), National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH) and the European Herbal and Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association (EHTPA), to ensure we are up to date with all the relevant issues affecting the sector.

Our goal is to push forward the evidence base for natural medicines and prove to regulators and the wider public that high quality herbal products, when prescribed and administered correctly, can be hugely beneficial for a broad range of ailments from minor complaints to chronic conditions.
