Product Description



Tincture of Garlic is a liquid preparation obtained by macerating Garlic bulbs with aqueous ethanol. Liquid comprises of 55% water and 45% ethanol. 

Garlic (scientific name Allium sativum) is a species in the onion genus, Allium.

Its close relatives include the onion, shallot, leek, chive,and Chinese onion. With a history of several thousand years of human consumption and use, garlic is native to Central Asia and northeastern Iran, and has long been a common seasoning worldwide.


Medicinal Action and Uses

Antibiotic - Garlic is considered to be a good natural antibiotic. The sulphur containg components help to remedyinfectious processes of the respiritory tract e.g. flu, sinusitis, bronchitis, coughing.  

Anti-Cancerous - recent studies relate garlic consumption to cancer inhibition. 

Antiseptic - Garlic has antiseptic qualities for wounds and abrasions to the skin. 

Anti-trombotic - the presence of sulphurouscomponents, together with alliin and ajoene, give garlic anti-trombotic (reduces formation of blood clots) which helps to fight circulatory diseases i.e. heart attacks, cholesterol, hypertension and angina. 

Detoxifier - it proves protection against pollutants heaving metal toxicity.

Digestive - garlic eases digestion by stimulating the liver, the gall bladder and the pancreas.

Diuretic - helps to get rid of bodies liquids, which can help rheumatism, gout, arthritis.
