Consulting medical herbalist Julija Milovanova-Palmer works in depth with every patient, advising them on their way to optimal health through personalised herbal therapy, diet/lifestyle changes and vitamin/mineral supplementation.
Holistic alternative healthcare is at the heart of Julija's practice. Julija received her training at UEL (2016, BSc), which was heavily focused on evidence-based herbal medicine, as well as practical clinical skills such as physical examination and prescribing. But it wasn’t enough to truly understand the complex conditions that people often face. Julija sought an answer in the energetics of herbs, but although fascinating, this didn’t provide a firm enough foundation to help those with complex multi-systemic conditions.
Julija is currently training as a practitioner of Endobiogenic Medicine, and is quite fascinated by this novel branch of personalised medicine developed by French medical doctors Christian Duraffourd and Jean-Claude Lapraz. Endobiogenic Medicine sees the root of all disorders in a dysregulation of the Autonomic Nervous System or Endocrine System. It speaks the language of hormones and neurotransmitters and their interplay in a disease, and uses medicinal plants to rectify these imbalances. Once Julija qualifies, she will offer her patients endobiogenic Biology of Functions blood tests, the most detailed blood tests available.
Julija’s practice at the moment is a fusion of three approaches : traditional herbalism, evidence- based research, and some endobiogeny. Julija sees patients with all conditions. Her special interests are women’s health, gynaecology, natural fertility, musculoskeletal disorders and gastrointestinal disorders. Appointments take place face to face in West London (Ealing) and Central London (Mayfair), as well as remotely (for follow up). For more details please visit the website.
