As a practitioner in herbal medicine, I take a complete holistic approach to identify and address the root causes of a wide variety of chronic and acute health problems. I believe that whilst many of the symptoms that my patients present may be similar, the underlying cause for each person’s health problems will vary – thus there is no “one-size fits all” answer to addressing a problematic health condition. Herbal medicine allows for a unique and bespoke approach for each person, in order to improve their health and wellbeing.
From my practice in the historic and picturesque village of Great Budworth, I offer in person consultations and zoom consultations for those further afield, by appointment.
As an active member of the Harley Davidson Riders Club of Great Britain (HDRCGB) you may also see me on my customised Sportster, aka The Phyto Physic, travelling to/from rallies where my advice and support is also available to fellow members.
As a keen horticulturist, I grow many of the herbs that I use in my practice. My Physic Garden which is open by appointment to my patients, offers a space to relax, enjoy nature and if they feel inclined, to actively participate in the growing and harvesting of the herbs that will contribute to their own well-being.
I am fully insured and a Full member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (MNIMH).
I am passionate about people, my local community, plants and facilitating a reconnection to nature and deepening appreciation of the ecology around us and within us. I also run herb walks, workshops for small groups, give talks, volunteer for and contribute articles to The Herb Society, a charity that aims to:
• Increase the understanding and use of herbs for health and well-being
• Provide information, knowledge and news on all aspects of herbs
• Bring together all those with an interest in herbs, from the amateur to the professional
• Provide a worldwide forum for the exchange of ideas and information
