Description
Tincture made by a process of hydro-ethanolic percolation, with a ratio of 1 part Gravel Root to 3 parts liquid. Liquid comprises of 75% water and 25% sugar beet derived ethanol.
Eupatorium purpureum commonly named kidney-root, sweet scented joe pye weed, sweet Joe-Pye weed, gravel root, or trumpet weed is a herbaceous perennial plant in the sunflower family.
It is native to eastern and central North America, from Ontario to New Hampshire and south as far as Florida, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.
Plants are found in full sun to part shade in moisture retentive to wet soils.
