Tincture made by a process of hydro-ethanolic percolation, with a ratio of 1 part Lysmachia Herb to 3 parts liquid. Liquid comprises of 75% water and 25% sugar beet derived ethanol.
Lysmachia christinae, commonly called Lysmachia or Gold Coin Grass, Is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Primulaceae family. It originated in Europe; its name is reportedly attributed to King Lysimachus of Sicily, who is believed to have discovered the herb’s healing properties. In addition to Europe, it now grows throughout the southern provinces of China, with large, spade-shaped green leaves and yellow flowers. You will find it growing in the provinces in southern area of Yangtze River.
The entire plant is harvested during the summer and autumn, cleaned, then dried in the sun.
Medicinal Action and Uses
Jaundice – Due to its actions on the liver, Lysmachia is a good cure for jaundice and combines with Yin chen hao, Zhi Zi, Hu Zhang for effectiveness.
Topical uses – external application can help to treat boils, carbuncles and snake bites.
Urological – Lysmachia is most prominently used to treat urological issues, and can be used for flushing out gallstones from the gallbladder as well as toxins from the liver.
