Tincture made by a process of hydro-ethanolic percolation, with a ratio of 1 part Quassia Chips to 3 parts liquid. Liquid comprises of 55% water and 45% sugar beet derived ethanol. Picrasma excelsa is a species of Picrasma in the family Simaroubaceae. It is found in Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Venezuela. It is threatened by habitat loss. Quassia is used to flavour aperitifs and bitters which are added to cocktails.
